Legal AI platform vendor Legora has appointed Jessica Turner as New Zealand lead to grow its presence in the country.

Although based in Sydney, Turner will be responsible for managing partnerships and relationships in New Zealand, Legora, which is a collaborative AI platform for legal professionals, said.

Turner brings over a decade of leadership experience across Europe and Asia-Pacific to the role, having previously worked at SAP, Airtable, Highspot, and Sprinklr in Australia and the UK.

The local legal sector was ready to integrate AI into their workflows, Turner said.

“New Zealand firms are well past the point of asking whether AI belongs in legal practice. We’re excited to build on the momentum we’re already seeing locally,” she said.

Legora said it will focus on helping New Zealand customers integrate legal AI across practice areas, deepen partnerships with leading law firms, and support the market\’s broader transition to AI-enhanced work.

The company was looking forward to having Turner lead its New Zealand expansion, said Legora Asia and Japan vice president Heather Paterson.

“We’re seeing extraordinary appetite for AI integration across major firms and are eager to help New Zealand organisations take advantage of powerful AI tools in their work,” Paterson said.
