It appears another courier picked it up shortly after.
It was located in Auckland at a depot about a week later by SL Racing’s contracted courier company, SL Racing confirmed.
The package had originally been delivered from overseas.
SL Racing co-owner Simon Lack said he was relieved to have it returned.

The package included eight carbon sweep riggers, destined to be used on a new eight-man boat at the Maadi Cup competition later this month.
A huge amount of work had gone into the design, and there was not enough time for replacements to be made for the competition.
Lack confirmed the parts had since been shipped south and were “on the water in Twizel” this week, before the major secondary schools competition.
SL Racing is a highly-regarded boat maker and its customers include Olympic athletes such as gold medallist Emma Twigg.
