Well, another season of “Love Is Blind” is in the books.

Season 10 may have gotten off to a slow, rather boring start, with the infamous dating experiment taking on a new batch of singles looking for love in Ohio. However, by the end, only a few married couples proved the show a “success,” and even fewer actually made it to the much-anticipated reunion — which premiered March 11 — to attest to their still-intact relationships.

For the past few seasons, “Love Is Blind” reunions have been real hit-or-miss when it comes to giving fans the cast updates they really want. Either hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey fail to get answers to viewers’ burning questions, or they don’t grill contestants hard enough about all the drama that goes down during the season. Or, like last season, they promise audiences all the wrong surprises we didn’t ask for (we’re still not over that extremely random NBA player appearance).

Fortunately, Season 10 actually turned up the drama with some genuine surprises that made the reunion worthwhile, from a shocking baby announcement to a rekindled pod connection to an onstage meltdown.

Fans got the usual relationship updates on who stayed together after the season wrapped — like Vic and Christine, who are still happily married (and finally going on their international getaway trip), and Bri and Connor, who decided to keep working on their relationship despite calling off their wedding.

We also found out what some ex-couples have been up to, like Mike and Emma — the former now has a new girlfriend, while the latter went “straight to therapy” after the show (smart choice).

Devonta Drops A Surprise Baby (And Engagement) Bombshell On Everyone — Including Ex Brittany

Out of all the Season 10 couples, it was clear that Brittany and Devonta didn’t have the best relationship… well, perhaps everyone except Brittany knew that. Brittany seemed to be oblivious to a lot of red flags throughout the season, right up until she and Devonta called off their wedding. And even then, she seemed optimistic that they still had a future together.

The two have since broken things off for good, with Devonta dropping a bomb at the reunion that he’s expecting a baby with his fiancée. Yes, he announced a pregnancy and engagement right on stage, to everyone’s shock. Brittany confirmed she was hearing the news for the first time, too, just like everybody else.

“It’s OK. I’m not fazed by it,” she said, adding that she’s not seeing anyone right now.

Devonta Lied To Brittany About Crashing A ‘Girls’ Trip’ With Bri, Ashley and Priyanka Before Their Breakup

Another controversial moment for Devonta at the reunion came from a reveal that he apparently lied to his then-fiancée, Brittany, about leaving town for a “work trip,” when he really met up with fellow castmates Bri, Ashley and Priyanka in Austin, Texas, to attend a Rüfüs concert.

When Connor was asked why he didn’t go on the trip, too, he said, “I thought it was a girls’ trip.”

According to Devonta, the plan came up while he was having dinner with Bri, when she mentioned that the girls were going to the concert and invited him to tag along. At the time, he and Brittany were still working through their relationship, as she was still wearing her engagement ring. However, he told the girls that the relationship was “over.” He didn’t officially end things with Brittany until after the trip.

Reflecting on the situation later, Devonta said, “That’s not on them. That’s on me. I should have been more honest with them.”

Amber Crashes Out Onstage Over Her Breakup With Jordan

Only two couples ended up tying the knot this season, one of them being Amber and Jordan. However, their marriage only lasted four months after the show, which might be a new “Love Is Blind” record. Both had their own versions of why their relationship didn’t work out, including living apart, trust issues, and co-parenting Amber’s 7-year-old daughter.

“I don’t think he was ready, to be honest,” Amber said during the reunion, later telling Jordan: “You wanted to do whatever you wanted, but have a wife that shows up on a Saturday, primed and ready to go, who just worked all week, who just took care of her kid.”

Jordan saw the situation differently. He said Amber’s “consistent screaming at me,” along with several incidents — including one wedding where he claimed she got blackout drunk — ultimately “pushed me away.”

“It was not a healthy relationship,” he said. “To push it past that time would’ve been irresponsible for all of us.”

A visibly upset Amber later said her daughter was hurt by Jordan ending the relationship and not saying goodbye to her. The moment then escalated when Amber shouted, “Don’t fucking come into somebody’s life if you’re going to do that,” before abruptly storming off the stage.

Alex Says He Didn’t ‘Find A Wife’ On The Show After Proposing To Ashley

One of the most memorable moments of the Season 10 finale came when Ashley confronted Alex at the altar about his story “changing” throughout their engagement. On numerous occasions, she questioned whether Alex had been completely truthful about the timeline of his past, which put a strain on their relationship and ultimately ended it.

That tension carried over into the reunion when Ashley and Alex continued to disagree over the latter’s honesty, especially when Ashley asked Alex what his real reason for going on the show was. “To find a wife,” he replied. “I just didn’t see any.”

Host Nick pushed back, pointing out that Alex had still proposed to Ashley, “so you did think you found a wife.” To which Alex said, “Emotionally, yeah.” However, he claimed his feelings started to change after he and Ashley met outside of the pods.

“That was the first domino to fall,” he said of the physical reveal, “but as time kind of went on, and I’m being involved in these conversations where I’m being cross-examined and tested and figuring all that out, I didn’t really feel as though you’re defending me.”

Chris Apologizes For Disrespecting Jess, Bri And Connor — With Some Prompting

“Love Is Blind” hasn’t had a most-hated cast member probably since Season 2’s Shake. However, Chris seems to have taken that crown after pissing off every last one of his castmates for being the ultimate douche this season.

It all started with his breakup with Jess, before which he told her, to her face, that she wasn’t his physical type because she doesn’t work out every day. He also floated the idea of being with his “No. 2 person” instead of being engaged to her. It didn’t take much for Jess to end their relationship after that. However, Chris’ antics didn’t stop there. At the pod squad meet-up, he aggressively flirted with Bri, who was engaged to his “friend” Connor. Chris also got caught DMing her behind Connor’s back, which got him ousted from the whole group.

At the reunion, Chris had very few words to explain his behavior from the season, which included a hot mic moment of him talking smack about Connor after he confessed his feelings for Bri.

“I’m not proud of a lot of those moments,” Chris simply said. And after an awkward silence, host Nick asked, “That’s it?”

After some prompting, Chris finally apologized to both Connor and Bri for disrespecting them. He also apologized to Jess for how he treated her, saying, “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there, emotionally, what you needed.”

Jess Is Now Dating A Fellow Pod Squad Member

On a brighter note, Jess seems to be in a much happier place now, as she revealed that she’s in a relationship with a fellow doctor — and a fellow pod squad member, Haramol! We never got to see the two explore their “deep connection” in the pods, but, apparently, they reconnected after Jess’ breakup with Chris.

“If the universe gives you a second chance, you take that seriously,” Haramol said of the two getting together.

The couple did their official Instagram hard launch following the reunion.
