Actress Rebecca Gayheart has made her first public appearance following the death of her estranged husband, Eric Dane. Joined by their daughters Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 14, Gayheart appeared at the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama on March 17. The film stars Zendaya, who co-starred with Dane in Euphoria.

Gayheart posed with her daughters on the red carpet wearing a black, red, and white striped dress with a tiered skirt. Her older daughter, Billie, wore a strapless white lace co-ord and a curly updo, while Georgia, Gayheart’s younger daughter, wore a pink bandage minidress.
Dane died a month ago after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2025. Although Gayheart and Dane officially separated in 2017, Dane explained that the pair “still [loved] each other deeply” in his final interview before his death. “I will have never, by the time anybody sees this, have fallen in love with another woman as deeply as I fell in love with Rebecca,” he said, appearing on Netflix’s Famous Last Words.

Shortly after Dane’s death, Gayheart shared a message that she was “blown away by the outpouring of love and support from our community” in an Instagram Story, which also featured a photo of a memorial to Dane, filled with candles and family photos.

Months before his death, Dane recorded a final message for his two daughters on the Netflix show. “Billie and Georgia, these words are for you,” he said to the camera. “I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried. Overall, we had a blast, didn’t we?”
After offering a few pieces of advice, he concluded, “When you face challenges, health or otherwise, fight. Never give up. Fight until your last breath. This disease is slowly taking my body, but it will never take my spirit.”
