When Aisling Moore began her career in nursing, she did not foresee that a trip halfway across the world would give her a whole new insight into her thinking about health.
Working at London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, one of the world’s leading cancer centres, Aisling, from Shankill in Dublin, was dealing daily with people at various stages of the disease. There were those who were very sick, receiving treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and those who were “coming to the end of their life”.
