AN Irish artist saw her latest solo exhibition, ‘Home Body’, open at Siamsa Tíre on Tuesday.
Cliodhna Doherty’s ‘Home Body’ is a deeply personal collection that explores the relationship between grief, the body, and the process of returning to oneself.
Working primarily in figurative painting, her practice captures moments of stillness, intimacy, and vulnerability. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including presentations during the Venice Biennale, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Art Shopping event at the Louvre during Art Basel.

“This collection is deeply personal and explores the return to self after grief,” says Doherty. “For years I have painted other women and their stories, so this collection is extremely special and vulnerable to me.”

The exhibition, which is free to visit, runs until April 22.
