Well, it took two decades, but reality TV feud legends Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad are officially friends. The former high school rivals famously had a contentious relationship on MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills, but that’s all in the past now.
During an interview with People at The Reunion: Laguna Beach premiere, Lauren said she and Kristin “have so much in common” and have continued their friendship since filming the reunion special last year, adding, “We’ve been having so much fun just texting and talking and laughing together.” I never thought I’d see the day!

News of the former rivals finally burying the hatchet broke back in October 2025, when Kristin announced the historic peace deal on her podcast.
“I just got back from Laguna, filmed the Laguna Beach reunion, which was awesome,” she said on an episode of Let’s Be Honest. Turning to her cohost for the episode, Jason Anderson, she continued, “I just feel like the world is healing. Like, you’re back on the pod, Lauren and I are friends.”
This wasn’t the first time LC and Kristin have put their feud to rest, either. They previously reunited in 2022, when Lauren appeared on Kristin and Stephen Colletti’s Back to the Beach podcast. It was, however, the first time Kristin has described them as “friends.” And Kristin also put a photo of the two of them on her Instagram grid. If that’s not friendship, I don’t know what is.
While at the red carpet at The Reunion: Laguna Beach premiere, Kristin told People that she was “really happy about” repairing her relationship with LC.
“I’m thankful that we had the opportunity to even do that,” she said. “And it’s been, obviously for us we haven’t had any beefs for the last however many years. We’re adults. We’ve all moved past it, but I think it’s nice, and to show everybody that we’ve moved past it is going to be really therapeutic in a lot of ways.”
The two-hour Laguna Beach reunion will premiere on the Roku Channel on April 10, 2026, with Kristin, Lauren, and Stephen in attendance, along with Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Shuller, Dieter Schmitz, and Alex Hooser.
