The pair unexpectedly shared “a lot in common” when they got to know each other as grown-ups.
“It’s been great getting to know her now as an adult,” Cavallari said. “And I’ve realised we actually have a lot more in common than I think both of us ever thought. So it’s been interesting to see.”
Conrad, 40, echoed her fellow fashion designer Cavallari’s sentiments and said: “I think it was great.

“It was part of what we wanted to show is that we’ve all grown, we’re all adults, a lot of us are parents. And I think that as you get older, you’re not worried about the small stuff.”
And Conrad has enjoyed being pals with Cavallari after filming wrapped for the reunion special of Laguna Beach, which followed the lives of high school students in Southern California from 2004 until the show’s finale in 2006.
Conrad said: “We’ve been having so much fun just texting and talking and laughing together.”
The Roku Channel released The Reunion: Laguna Beach trailer on Wednesday and it started with the pair sitting by a bonfire on the beach as they reflected on their past.
Cavallari told her co-star: “We have never had a conversation on camera, just the two of us. Are you ready?”
Conrad looked at Cavallari and replied: “No.”
The latter recalled a moment when the cast came together on a set: “They said, ‘Who do you think is gonna be prom queen?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, and I don’t care, as long as it’s not Lauren Conrad’.”
Conrad chimed in: “We did not like each other.”
