Auckland Airport fog causes multiple domestic flight cancellations and delays

Fog is disrupting flights at Auckland Airport this morning with several regional flights cancelled and others delayed.

Eleven departing domestic regional flights to Napier, Nelson, Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North, Taupo, Gisborne, New Plymouth and Queenstown have been cancelled. Another flight to Queenstown has been delayed.

A further eleven domestic regional
flights due to arrive at Auckland Airport from Napier, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Taupo, Gisborne, Christchurch and Wellington have been cancelled, and one flight from Tauranga has been delayed.

A flight from Wellington has been diverted.
