More than 20 flights have been cancelled due to fog in Auckland.
A restriction has been in place at Auckland Airport since 4.42am on Sunday.
Eleven flights – two to Napier and Christchurch, and one to Nelson, Palmerston North, Taupō, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Wellington and Queenstown – due to depart from Auckland have been cancelled.
Another 12 flights – three from Napier and Christchurch, two from Palmerston North, and one from New Plymouth, Taupō, Gisborne and Wellington – set to arrive in Auckland have also been cancelled.
One flight to Tauranga and another to Queenstown have been delayed.
Four flights – from Tauranga, Wellington, Nelson and Napier – have also been delayed.
International flights have not been affected by the fog.
