The incident happened just after 4.30am on Tuesday, March 31 when a window was smashed at a premises on St Benedicts Street and the sculptures were taken.

Police are now asking the public for their help as part of the investigation.

A spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary said: “If anyone tries to sell you one of these pieces or you see them for sale, either online, in a shop or at an event, then please get in touch.”

Officers are also urging those in the area with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage to get in touch quoting the reference 36/22537/26.
