Result: Jadcup Auckland Tuatara (115) defeat Franklin Bulls (95)

Tuatara grab the Bulls by the horns with a dominant win over their cross-town rivals.

Just like their Rapid League counterparts the Jadcup Tuatara came out of the gate firing. Great shot selection and good defence lead to a 13-0 lead and had the game looking dire for the Franklin Bulls. But Jace Carter wouldn’t let that happen. The Bulls forward put together quick buckets to bring the Franklin side back into the match. The teams would trade buckets until the Bulls found themselves within 3 at the end of the first half. 

Jace Carter would receive help from fellow import Derrin Boyd who found his shot in the second half. The Bulls would keep it close right up Dylan Wilkie would start putting up shots. Wilkie was a spark off the bench. Contributing 18 points on 6-7 shooting. The rest of the Tuatara would impress too, with seven players putting in 10+ points as the Tuatara would outlast the Jace Carter led Bulls.

Result: Jadcup Tuatara (46) defeat Oilhub Franklin Bulls (36)

From tip off the Jadcup Tuatara looked like a strong, cohesive unit as they took an early lead. Great shot selection and incredible shooting from Dylan Wilkie propelled the Tuatara to a 16-7 lead in the first quarter. The Oilhub Franklin Bulls would close the lead behind excellent shooting, particularly from Payton Hughes. But 15 points from Wilkie would bring the Tuatara up to 30 points in the first half. 

The Tuatara would extend the lead in the 3rd quarter and would never look back. KC Ioane would chip in 14 points to push the home team over the edge.
