The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has set up to 15 April 2026 as the deadline for non-compliant companies to remit contributions on behalf of their employees or face punitive action. This is in response to the increasing number of businesses that have failed to meet their obligations under the Social Security Act. Meeting in Soroti City, the NSSF managing director Patrick Ayota says companies that fail to comply face punitive sanctions, making it essential for employers to understand the implications and take action promptly.
