The Married At First Sight Reunion is officially over!

There were some explosive outbursts and heart-shattering announcements.

Read on to see the biggest moments as they happened – from Rachel and Steven’s break-up to Bec’s reaction to news Steph was texting her ex-husband Danny.

Danny vows never to return to MAFS

It just keeps getting harder and harder to watch, doesn’t it? 

Our hearts break for Bec when she storms off and confesses to producers she still loves Danny. This is clearly a woman going through it. 

Back at the table Danny’s never felt more sure about his decision to break up with Bec after witnessing her “disgusting” behaviour. 

And off she goes… (Nine)

“She is not wife material,” he puts a final nail in the coffin. 

After the wreckage that became of this Dinner Party Danny is not keen to front up to tomorrow’s Final Reunion with the experts. 

He thinks it will just be another opportunity for people to “twist things again” and “lie”. 

“I ain’t turning up mate. My lawyer can speak for me. No comment!” 

‘You’re a liar’: Bec goes off on ‘unhinged’ rant at ex

There’s no winding Bec back now. She’s losing it at Steph and Danny in a class-A performance of cross-table screaming. 

Most of what is being said, we simply cannot repeat here. But it goes a little something like this: 

“YOU’RE A LIAR!”

“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?” 

“YOU DELETED ALL MESSAGES AND THE PHONE CALL”

“OFF YOU GO TOGETHER YOU SCURVY – DOG ——” 

Bec doubles down. (Nine)

OK that’s enough! 

The other brides and grooms know Bec is hurting even that’s not an excuse for her “unhinged,” “shocking,” “deplorable,” and “foul” behaviour. 

Steph says she’d never go for Danny 

Steph tries her best to put the rumours to rest once and for all. She says if she had something to hide, she “probably would have lied”. 

“I don’t like Danny, I’m not attracted to Danny, I’m never gonna go for Danny, I couldn’t care less,” she announces for the final time.

But none of Steph’s logical explanations are enough to put Bec at ease.

Bec has reached her boiling point and is going ABSOLUTELY OFF!!

Steph and Danny explain their side of the story  

Someone needs to stop Tyson.

He’s back to his pot-stirring ways. He clinks the glass to direct everyone’s attention to the texts and photos his ex Steph and Danny exchanged. 

Now Steph and Danny are forced to defend themselves to the group, and although we hate how we got here, we are intrigued to get to the bottom of what this relationship really is. 

What we find out is that the pair began talking after the experiment, Steph was the one to reach out, and apparently, it was just a friendly business chat. 

In an attempt to defend the fact he sent Steph an emoji love heart, Danny points out that he sends them to his mum, followed by the comment, “What, am I trying to sleep with my mum?” Interesting strategy, Danny. 

Cue the concerned grimace. (Nine)

He boils the whole drama down to “a load of bollocks”. 

We’re torn. Usually where there’s smoke there’s fire but also there is negative chemistry between Steph and Danny so …

Gia is unsurprised by Danny’s ‘snake’ behaviour 

Gia has been shockingly quiet this whole evening, but of course, she has something to say about the downfall of Bec and Danny. 

We feel like we’ve just time-travelled back to week one with Gia telling us that Danny’s said she was his type. 

“Tonight it was proven that he is flirty with other women,” she says. 

At least someone got some validation this evening. 

Gia: 1, Danny: 0. (Nine)Bec sobs to Danny over their break-up: ‘My friend and my ex-husband are secretly messaging’

Things are getting messy here. Bec wants an apology for Danny’s “cruel” behaviour, but he’s refusing to admit that he’s anything more than friends with Steph. 

It becomes clear that Bec’s anger is about more than the texts as she breaks down over the mixed messages she got from Danny throughout the experiment. 

“I believed you, and in the final vows you made me feel worthless,” she says. 

What’s that about ‘ride or die’? (Nine)

“I came into the experiment for love and I found a fraud!”

It doesn’t seem to affect Danny much as he gives Bec a pat on the back and reminds her she can “reach out” to him. OK DANNY. 

Yikes. This is a hard watch. 

Danny pulls Bec for a private chat because he has ‘nothing to hide’ 

Does Danny think he’s saying the right things when he tells the woman he dumped that it’s good to see her and that he’s missed her? 

Bec says he played her and we’re kind of seeing it now. Talk about mixed messages. 

Danny says he’s got “nothing to hide” about his friendship with Steph. 

Know what I mean? (Nine)

He claims that they’ve just been talking business since they’re both real estate agents. 

At this point, we’re really unsure who to believe. 

Filip retells his and Stella’s romantic proposal 

Everyone say it together now – thank GOD for farmer Luke!

He’s diverting the conversation from chaos to calm and asking for the details on Stella and Filip’s engagement. We always knew he was a loverboy at heart. 

Filip says that it was always “obvious” that Stella was his person, so therefore it’s totally reasonable for them to get engaged after three months of knowing each other. (We jest, we really are happy for them.)

The pair simply cannot wipe the smiles off their faces, and it’s a little infectious. 

Surely others are kicking their feet and giggling as they watch this… right?

I mean, how can you not? (Nine)David airs all of Alissa’s ‘dirty laundry’, says she got a man’s number while in their relationship 

Tyson has no personal investment in any of the couples but is here to stir the pot. 

He asks David why he didn’t let Alissa speak at Final Vows, and it seems like the opportunity David has been waiting for.  

David gives a vague speech about protecting his peace. Alissa isn’t interested in peace, she wants justice and she’s fighting for it. 

Even Bec was shook. (Nine)

No, she’s quite literally fighting for it but yelling across the table. Not peaceful at all. 

Despite saying he doesn’t want to air their dirty laundry, it looks like David is about to air some dirty laundry. 

“You went to Adelaide to return your dress, did you or did you not get your ‘friend’s’ number on the flight back?” He asks as the group audibly gasps. 

David says Alissa “crossed the line” getting the phone number of her alternate match. 

The argument is now pretty much descending into who is going to be the one to talk, which has to be the most annoying argument two people can have – at least give us something juicy if you’re going to yell!

We’re not betting people, but if we were, we’d put all our money on these two never saying a word to each other after the Final Reunion. 

Danny says he’s just been talking ‘business’ with Steph

Danny is scared. And honestly, that’s completely valid. He probably should be. 

He tells producers that he and Steph have been chatting without an ounce of shame or secrecy, which makes us think, is this relationship really as saucy as Bec is making it out to be?

Sneaky, sneaky. (Nine)

“Don’t be doing that,” he tells producers when they ask if he’s excited to see Steph. “I’m excited to see everybody.”

We’ve finally made it out of Cocktail Hour with seemingly few casualties, and Danny is insisting that Bec sit next to him at dinner, a decision we’re sure he regrets when she asks if he would rather be sitting with Steph. 

It seems the chaos has only just begun.

A very smiley Scott walks in the door to cheers, and not long after, Gia follows behind, and the two are soon sharing a very awkward, cold hug. 

There’s not an ounce of interest from Gia or Scott in conversing with each other, and honestly, we think that might be for the best.

There’s still hope for Rachel and Steven 

Things are still clearly sensitive for this former couple, with both of them still deeply upset over the breakup. 

All the signals say these two want to get back together, but neither wants to be the one to say it, which is confusing, to say the least. 

We’ve missed this. (Nine)

Steven admits his faults, Rachel reaffirms her feelings, and both confess they don’t want to be broken up. 

Steven goes as far as to take his wedding ring out of his pocket and put it back on!!!!! 

So where does this leave us? Are they back together again? Well, in the words of John Aiken, “It’s a bit confusing what’s going on with Steven and Rachel.”

Bec confronts Steph over ‘inappropriate’ texts 

And here she is! The lady everyone (AKA, Bec) is talking about!

We’re shocked by the warm greeting Steph gets from Bec, but as expected, things are quickly taking a turn. 

Just smile and wave, Steph. (Nine)

Bec’s now confronting Steph about “reaching out to my ex-husband”, asking why Steph would want to reach out to Danny when they “had no relationship” during the experiment.

“Don’t say it’s nice to hear my husband’s voice. Sending love hearts, bikini photos, it’s inappropriate,” Bec declares to Steph.

Steph keeps the peace by nodding along and agreeing with Bec even if she doesn’t really.

Despite what the pair are saying behind the scenes about not having a bar of each other, it all seems to end rather pleasantly, 

For now, at least.

Rachel and Steven reunite 

Thank god the moment we’ve all been waiting for is here. 

Steven has walked in the door, and it seems there’s only one person more excited to see him than Rachel, and that’s Luke. 

After giving the unexpected duo a bro moment, Rachel and Steven share a long, sad hug. 

We’re praying that these two can figure things out. 

Details of Steph and Danny’s ‘flirtatious’ text exchange emerge

Bec hasn’t even made it past cocktail hour before pivoting on her agreement with Steph, and honestly, are we shocked? 

She’s spilling all the details to Stella and Rebecca, and let’s just say that the girls are not happy.

Finally, some much-needed relief from the doom and gloom. 

Everyone’s favourite (secretly) engaged couple have arrived!

“Hey guys, I just wanna say how unbelievable it is to see everyone. I just gotta say, we’ve been keeping a secret,” says Filip.

Here we go, it’s time … 

“We had final vows, it was underneath the harbour bridge, and I legitimately got down on one knee.”

Screams. Cheers. Congratulations. Pure happiness is filling the room. 

EXCLUSIVE: Stella and Filip share all the details of their surprise engagement

Their co-stars are shocked, mostly by the fact that they kept it a secret. 

But thank god they did, because we’re ready to watch this moment on repeat. 

Alissa confronts David for the first time since the split  

David’s plan is to go into the evening with “no negative energy” around him. 

Oh, David, what a foolish hope. 

We’re immediately off to a rocky start when he reaches out for a hug, which Alissa rejects. 

Rejected. (Nine)

Foolishly again, he throws out the word “respect,” which is absolutely not the right word to be using in front of Alissa right now. 

“That was the most disrespectful thing anyone has ever done to me,” she tells David. 

“You talk about respect being your number one, and you spat on my face, David.” 

We don’t remember any literal spitting so we assume she’s talking metaphorically here?

Alissa (literally) demands an apology. (Nine)

David stands by his decision to walk off at Final Vows saying it was “100 percent justified” Alissa obviously disagrees: 

“You’re a coward! Your ego got the better of you because you walked away like a little boy!” 

At this point, we’re begging for a commercial break to catch our breath.

Alissa tells the tale of David’s dramatic exit 

Luke, Rebecca, and Grayson have all arrived, and now that she’s got a decent audience, Alissa is ready to share her story. 

“He literally walked away, I didn’t even say my final vows to him,” she says to the surprise of the group.

“He did the most disrespectful thing; he blindsided me, and he walked away. I was left there standing on my own. He abandoned me.”

The pair have had no contact since, and Alissa says she deserves an apology. 

Right on cue, David walks in the door.

Bec, Alissa and Rachel start the Broken Hearts Club

Bec, Alissa and Rachel are the first to arrive, and things are off to a sad start.  

Immediately, there are tears.

Bec breaks down, explaining how Danny left her stranded at Final Vows. Rachel doesn’t even get a hello out before the waterworks begin. 

In a heartwarming – and rare – display of girlhood this season, the three share a group hug, pour themselves some wine, and dive into everything that went wrong. 

“We just couldn’t make it work,” Rachel tells the girls of her split with Steven. 

Now it’s time for someone else to walk in; this is starting to get us down.

Bec reveals ex Danny has been texting another bride 

Bec is not done dropping bombshells – and thank god for that. 

“The man that I’m still in love with is messaging another bride,” she reveals.

Much to our viewing pleasure, Bec recounts a run-in with Steph at the airport, where she apparently struggled to find her words when asked the simple question, “Have you spoken to Danny?” 

Turns out that rather than just giving Bec a simple yes or no response, Steph decided to hand over her phone. An absolutely unhinged move if you’re asking us. 

Unsurprisingly, Bec is not happy with what she found, a list of which includes a bikini photo, some sweet voice messages, and god forbid, two love heart emojis. 

Even though she agreed with Steph not to bring things up at the Dinner Party, Bec has since backflipped on that decision. 

Strap in, it looks like things are going to get messy. 

MESSY. (Nine)Stella and Filip prove love is real  

We feel like we’re getting whiplash right now.

Straight after receiving the heartbreaking news of Rachel and Steven’s relationship demise, we’re thrown into the deep end of love with engaged love birds Stella and Filip. 

It comes as a shock to absolutely no one that these two are deeply in love with each other, but that doesn’t mean we can’t revel in that warm and fuzzy feeling. 

When you loooook meeee in the eyes… (Nine)

“Knowing that I was brave enough to put myself out there and get the beautiful man that I got, and fall in love, yeah, it’s beautiful,” Stella says.

Filip says since they left, they’ve been “doing the whole life thing,” which in his terms seems to mean that they’ve moved in together and built Ikea furniture. 

But in a shocking reveal, he says not a single other contestant knows the couple are now engaged, so we’re now waiting very impatiently to see their reactions to the news. 

Rachel confirms she and Steven are broken up 

It’s a sad day for fans of true love. One of this season’s cutest couples reveal they’ve officially called it quits. 

So what on Earth went wrong?

After a beautiful montage of their cutest moments, the doom and gloom music kicks in as a producer asks Rachel how she’s feeling. 

“Not good, not good at all,” she says through tears. 

“It’s the reality of it, Steven and I are broken up.”

Cue the shocked gasps. 

Coming up, we’ll see exes Alissa and David face each other after that Final Vows walkout and we’ve heard whispers of a photo scandal involving two unlikely suspects.
