Parts of two state highways have been closed after a fatal road crash on the Rangitīkei River Bridge, near Bulls.
One person has died after a motorcycle and truck collided on the Rangitīkei River Bridge.
State Highway 1 and SH3 near the bridge are closed.
Emergency services responded to the two-vehicle crash, near the Tangimoana Rd intersection between Bulls and Sanson, about 10.55am.
Police said one person died at the
scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
