The Lunar City of Shin-Edo–April 15, 2026–Chaos Manufacturing today released the first Dev Diary for SOL Shogunate, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the world-building behind the studio’s upcoming Samurai Space Opera Action RPG.
Game Director Leszek SzczepaÅ„ski and Narrative Director Cindi Knapton guide viewers through the game’s futuristic technologies and its striking setting, from the shimmering Lunar Glass City of Shin-Edo, through the neon-drenched nightlife paradise of Tenkyo, and the stark landscapes of the moon beyond.Â
This video introduces the Tennoji and Karasuma samurai clans for the first time, detailing their exceptional advances in genetic and scientific research that make life on the moon comfortable – at least, for those of the ruling class.
SOL Shogunate Reddit AMA: The Chaos Manufacturing team will be live on r/PS5 today, April 15, starting at 1:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM CET / 5:00 AM JST (April 16) to answer questions about the game. Media are welcome to participate.
