BTS Nominations at AMA 2026
The septet, which includes RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has attained three BTS AMA 2026 nominations, most notably for the distinguished Artist of the Year. This marks the group’s second time competing for the grand prize after their iconic 2021 win. In the Artist of the Year category, BTS stands as the only K-pop act, set to compete against nine Western giants, including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Apart from the grand win, the BTS’ song SWIM has also caught the industry’s eye and won a nomination for the Song of the Summer category. In spite of the fact that the song was released less than a month ago as part of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, SWIM is already wrestling against heavy hitters like Harry Styles’ American Girls and Taylor Swift’s Elizabeth Taylor.Â
