After nine years in technical and business development roles for Gallagher Security in North America, Jonathan Finan returns to Aotearoa.
Gallagher Security has announced the appointment of Jonathan Finan as Technical Account Manager for the Central North Island.
Jonathan brings more than 14 years of experience with Gallagher, his journey taking him across technical support, training, engineering, and business development roles in New Zealand and internationally.
“It’s been exactly that, a journey,” said Jonathan. “Each role has added something, whether it’s technical knowledge or business acumen. The key is to always stay open to learning something new.”
“Jonathan’s breadth of experience across technical and commercial roles, combined with his international perspective, brings real strength to our Central North Island team.”
Having worked across New Zealand, the United States, and Canada, says the announcement, Jonathan brings a global perspective to the role, yet he sees his return to New Zealand as a natural next step.
“I’ve always loved New Zealand and knew I’d return at some point. With the timing right, it felt like the perfect opportunity to come back, step into a new role, and continue my Gallagher journey,” he said.
In his new position, Jonathan will focus on supporting partners and customers across the Central North Island, combining his technical expertise with a strong relationship-driven approach.
“I’m a people person, I enjoy building relationships and working alongside customers to deliver solutions that really make a difference. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our partners and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in security.”
“Jonathan’s breadth of experience across technical and commercial roles, combined with his international perspective, brings real strength to our Central North Island team,” commented Steve Cooke, Sales Manager at Gallagher Security.
“He has a deep understanding of Gallagher’s technology and a genuine passion for helping customers succeed. We’re excited to have him back in New Zealand and know he will make an immediate impact supporting our partners and customers in the region.”
