[WEST DES MOINES, Iowa] — UnityPoint Health is cutting more than 200 IT jobs as part of changes to its revenue cycle operations.
The health system says the transition will help strengthen its long-term financial stability and allow it to maintain local patient care. Some of the functions will be moved to third-party vendors later this year.
UnityPoint says severance and support will be given to any employee affected by the cuts.
