WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Cameron Art Museum (CAM) is inviting the public to view a new exhibit featuring pieces by art icon Andy Warhol.
According to CAM, “Andy Warhol: Silver Clouds” was created in 1966 and features reflective, helium-filled pieces
“Silver Clouds continues to feel remarkably current,” Heather Wilson, CEO of CAM, said. “Warhol’s vision transforms the gallery into a space of curiosity and interaction—one that invites visitors to slow down, engage, and experience art in motion. Extending this installation allows more audiences to encounter its sense of wonder.”
The exhibit will open to the public on June 19 as part of “Fresh Air: Inflatable Sculptures” and remain open until Sep. 27.
CAM Members can view the exhibit early at the opening night celebration on June 18.
