Adam Levine has tongues wagging after debuting a new look this week.
The Maroon 5 frontman has sparked rumours that he has undergone surgery to his face after stepping out looking somewhat different to his former self.
The singer attended the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Santa Monica over the weekend walking the red carpet with wife Behati Prinsloo. His signature beard was gone and a cleaner face emerged for the cameras – forcing many fans to do a double take to confirm it was indeed the rocker.
As pictures began circulating online, many took to social media to share their thoughts.
The general vibe? “wtf happened to him?”
“Someone has had work done on his face!” one person pointed out the obvious on X.
“What did he do to his face? He looks so different,” another observed.
And another questioned: “Why did Adam Levine get a face lift? He used to be so handsome?”
Many weren’t into the star’s new look, claiming he suited the facial hair and should be embracing growing old naturally.
“Too bad, I love to see an ageing man, like fine wine. Not this one though,” someone posted.
“Natural looking is always the better look,” another agreed.

While he firmly denied a full-blown affair, Levine famously admitted to sexting multiple women, including model Sumner Stroh, while his wife was pregnant with their third child back in 2022.
As details of the sexy texts were made public, the singer was forced to “clear the air” on social media.
“I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” he began.
“I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.”

Some fans are still to accept that apology, with some claiming the star’s new look ironically serves as his wife’s ultimate revenge.
