Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior, MOI, announced the addition of a new feature on Metrash App that allows users to pay for family and friends’ traffic violations.
The ministry in a social media post stated that to access this feature, users should log into the Metrash app, navigate to “Traffic”, then click on “Violations”. Choose “Other Vehicle Violations” and enter the plate number and QID number of the violator.
User can then proceed to “Pay Violation Amount” and choose the desired payment method. Once the payment is successful, users can view the payment receipt or click ‘Done’ to close the session. 
Launched as part of Qatar’s wider digital government ecosystem, the Metrash platform provides users with a range of services — from residency inquiries to traffic fines and direct reporting functionality.
