Owners of a new gallery which only sells local artwork said they were inspired by the “phenomenal” local talent that “people just don’t know about”.
Jackdaw, based in Oundle, Northamptonshire, was officially opened in March this year by three women from the county.
They only stock pieces created within 50 miles of the shop and prioritise developing a rapport with local artists to support the community.
Tarot Crick, one of the owners, said: “We want to be that community centre and heart and hub where it’s just a little bit of everything.”
