Britain’s Got Talent presenter Declan Donnelly had viewers roaring with laughter during Saturday’s second live semi-final when a performance took an unexpected turn during feedback.
Saturday’s second live semi-final on 2 May featured danger act Alfredo and Coral, young performers Braunstone Community Primary School, magician Fabian Fox, vocalist Katherine O’Malley, improvisational rappers Macshane and Delby, singer Nic Vani, dancing ensemble Sadeck Berrabah and LMA, and dance collective World Wings.
The mayhem unfolded during the judges’ feedback following Katherine O’Malley’s routine.
Katherine, who had previously tried out for the programme in 2018, 2019, and 2020 alongside her husband Joe performing Disney classics in character, took to the stage alone following encouragement from judge Amanda Holden.

Following several traditional musical theatre numbers, Katherine was accompanied by her husband Joe for her closing song, with him appearing on stage to perform a tap dance routine, reports the Daily Star.
However, judges KSI and Alesha Dixon were unimpressed with the act, hitting the infamous red cross, with a bewildered KSI stating: “I didn’t like that one bit, if I’m being honest”, continuing: “I’m sorry, bro, but that was one of the worst tap dancing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Joe shot back at KSI’s critique, revealing his boxing background: “Well, actually, I’m an ex boxer!” which sent KSI into laughter while Amanda joked: “Fight, fight, fight!”

As the pair playfully mimicked sparring with one another from opposite sides of the room, presenter Dec, 50, remarked: “This is getting like I’m A Celebrity again, not again, not again!!” referencing the recent I’m A Celebrity… South Africa live finale, which spiralled into chaos.
Joe then began pretending to box the stage with Ant and Dec calling out: “Thank you Joe!” before repeating: “Joe, Joe, Joe!” as he carried on boxing, reminding him they needed to speak with his wife, Katherine, who was that evening’s actual performer.
After getting Joe to stop boxing and speaking with Katherine, she described her performance as “really good fun” and said she loved it. Despite this, she sadly didn’t progress to the final.

Last month, I’m A Celebrity… South Africa broadcast its live finale from a London studio, where Adam Thomas was crowned champion. Adam, 37, reached the final four alongside Craig Charles, Mo Farah, and Harry Redknapp.
Yet, matters descended into disorder when David Haye and Jimmy Bullard became involved in a tense confrontation with Adam, as well as presenters Ant and Dec, during the live broadcast.
Ant and Dec were also compelled to intervene when David, 45, challenged Adam, 37, while on air.
On Twitter, now X, audiences found Dec’s comment during Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent hilarious. One viewer posted: “Dec: “Not again.” #BGT” with laughing emojis to which another account responded: “Made me laugh” while a different supporter contributed: “Same” with laughing emojis.
