Justin Bieber‘s mother, Pattie Mallette, shared a heartfelt prayer for her son amid his musical comeback following a break from touring to prioritize his health.

On Monday, the 50-year-old posted a series of black-and-white images of Bieber, 31, alongside a moving caption in which she told her Instagram followers, ‘We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin.’

In the lengthy prayer, Mallette wrote: ‘I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS.’

She continued, asking for her son to be filled with ‘love and comfort’ and for his life to become a testimony of God’s power: ‘Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT. Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord. Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace.’

The post, which featured a photo of Bieber wearing a shirt that read ‘Pray for Me’, drew thousands of supportive comments from fans and fellow believers alike.

One user wrote, ‘Amen Pattie, remind him for me we are going through this together, and God’s plan will always ultimately prevail,’ while another added, ‘This man saved me… and I’m willing to do ANYTHING to pay the debt #BelieberForever.’

Others reassured concerned fans that nothing was ‘wrong’ with Bieber, with one comment noting: ‘It’s just a mother’s prayer.’

The Grammy-winning singer has been open about his struggles with fame, mental health, and physical illness in recent years, including being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022, which caused partial facial paralysis.

Mallette’s post came on the same day Bieber shared photos of himself, wife Hailey and son Jack at the Empire Polo Club, where Coachella is held annually.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Hailey ‘was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella.’

‘She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up,’ the source explained. ‘He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity.’

Although Justin has declined offers to headline in the past, the insider emphasized: ‘Hailey was definitely the driving force behind Justin doing Coachella.’

‘As someone who grew up on his music, she always reminds him that he’s the Justin Bieber,’ they explained. ‘She knows firsthand how much it means to his fans to see him back on stage, so she was like, “You have to do this!”‘

With seven months until the festival, sources say Justin is already working on what his performance will look like.

‘He wants to showcase his Swag albums but will also do a lot of his older hits,’ one insider revealed. ‘The goal is to make it a celebration of his career and where he’s at now. He’s already throwing out ideas for special guests too.’

Another source added that Justin feels ‘he is having a rebirth in this new era’ and sees Coachella as a chance to ‘redefine himself.’

‘He feels like he’s been given a second chance to redefine himself and finally step into the man he was always meant to be,’ the insider said.

After Justin booked the gig, sources confirmed to Rolling Stone that he secured a record-breaking paycheck of more than $10 million to do the festival.

The two-weekend deal not only makes him the highest-paid performer in the event’s history, over performers like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and The Weeknd.

Unlike most headliners who rely on powerhouse agencies to broker deals, Bieber negotiated directly with Goldenvoice, the festival’s promoter.

‘It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,’ a source close to the singer told the outlet. ‘Between headlining Coachella and the success of Swag, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin — one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.’

Insiders say Bieber’s fee surpasses $5 million per weekend, a figure that puts him well above past Coachella payouts.

Although Coachella never reveals how much they pay artists, speculative reports online have surfaced over the years for past acts.

Bad Bunny, who was one of the headliners for 2023’s Coachella, allegedly got paid $5 million, per the Trapital Podcast.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd reportedly asked for $8.5 million and Ariana Grande is said to have taken home $8 million.

Billboard previously reported that Beyoncé made somewhere between $8-$12 million for headlining in 2018.

A year prior, The New Yorker reported that Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead each earned $3-4 million for their performances in 2017.

Goldenvoice’s parent company, AEG, has long partnered with Bieber on his touring career, but this marks the first time he’s personally stepped into the negotiating room.

According to those close to him, he’s preparing something far beyond a standard festival set.

‘Bieber is an unshakeable artist who has stood up against the grain and fought for his independence,’ the source added. ‘His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon.’

Bieber’s comeback arrives on the heels of his latest two-part album project, Swag I and Swag II.

Industry insiders say the strategy to pair the albums, initially conceived as back-to-back releases, helped safeguard Bieber’s chart momentum.

Still, label executives stress that Bieber deserves the credit for driving the project.

‘Justin Bieber and his team are the driving forces behind both albums and their rollouts,’ a rep for Def Jam, part of Republic Collective, said.

Sources say he had ‘100 percent creative freedom’ on Swag, allowing him to strip away industry noise and reintroduce himself in his truest form.

‘This is the purest version of Justin we’ve ever seen musically,’ one insider noted.
