One royal who reportedly did not make the guest list is Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Since King Charles stripped his brother of his titles in November, the royal family has been distancing itself from the former Duke of York, as a result of his ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (though Andrew denies any wrongdoing). According to the Mail, reports have been circulating that it is ‘unlikely’ that Peter’s uncle will be invited to the wedding.
What of his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who announced this month that she is expecting her third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank? The York sisters did not attend the royal family’s Easter Sunday celebrations in April, reportedly discussing the move with King Charles and making ‘alternative plans’.
But that is not to say that the King has cut ties with Beatrice and Eugenie – nor is it to say that they will not attend the wedding in June. Rather, ‘the door has been left open’ for the pair to attend royal events and ‘family celebrations’ in the future, as the BBC reported over Easter. An invitation to Harriet and Peter’s big day would certainly be an indication that the pair are still within the royal fold.

Two sisters who are most likely to make the guest list are Savannah and Isla Phillips, the daughters that Peter shares with his ex-wife, Autumn Phillips. The girls reportedly share a close relationship with Harriet Sperling and her daughter, Georgina, all of whom will no doubt play an important role in the day.
The choice of church also offers a hint as to what the rest of the day might hold. Cirencester is just a short drive from Gatcombe Park, the Gloucestershire home of Princess Anne. Zara and Mike Tindall also live on the estate with their three children, Mia, Lena and Luca. Peter Phillips also continued to live at Gatcombe for a period following his divorce from Autumn in 2021.
