The Princess of Wales also donned the jumper in 2023, when she joined Roman Kemp, son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, for a stroll to discuss the importance of mental health and early childhood development, as part of her Shaping Us initiative.
Of course, Lady Louise often shares style tips with her mother, Sophie. The pair exchange hats, like when Louise wore one of her mother’s pieces at the royal family’s Easter celebrations in 2022, or when the Duchess wore a hat for VE Day in 2025 that Lady Louise had previously worn for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Working at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, however, calls for far less formal attire. As royal watchers have come to expect from Lady Louise, the royal is getting stuck in with ‘no airs and graces’ according to Royal Windsor Horse Show insiders.
‘Lady Louise is one of the chief organisers, essentially operating a first concierge service,’ said the Show’s director, Nick Books-Ward, in Vanity Fair. ‘She’s a great worker and a real asset to the team with no airs or graces. It’s a proper paid job, and there’s no special treatment because of who she is.’
This down-to-earth diligence is no news for fans of Lady Louise Windsor, who took up a job in a garden centre before university and was pictured this year sitting down on the floor of a packed train in order to get an essay handed in on time. Nowhere is the royal’s hardworking demeanour more apparent than in her love of carriage driving.
