TiE Delhi-NCR concluded India Innovation Day (iDay) 2026 in Gurugram, bringing together more than 1,200 founders, investors, corporate leaders, policymakers, technologists, and ecosystem enablers for discussions around India’s evolving innovation economy.
The 15th edition of iDay, themed “Audacity of Now”, focused on India’s transition from an internet-first to an innovation-first economy. Formerly known as India Internet Day, the platform highlighted developments across sectors such as AI, DeepTech, D2C, biotech, space, quantum computing, and Bharat-focused innovation.
Sessions during the event covered topics including indigenous AI infrastructure, foundation and language models, AI-native companies, strategic technology missions, sovereign capabilities, public-private collaboration, AI-led decision-making, consumer brands, and healthcare innovation.
A key segment of the event, TiE The Knot, returned for its 14th edition as a live investment platform where startups pitched to investors. According to the organisers, the format has seen 69 startups pitch across previous editions, with 31 receiving funding commitments worth over Rs 110 crore. This season focused on startups raising between Rs 3 crore and Rs 8 crore.
The event also featured Future Frames, an AI film festival exploring storytelling formats enabled by AI tools, with participation from filmmakers, students, and technologists.
India Innovation Day 2026 saw participation from across the startup, investment, and policy ecosystem, continuing its role as a platform for conversations around innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies in India.
