Tonight’s semi-final began with a performance from the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Matilda The Musical.

Eight more acts then took to the stage, battling it out for a place in this year’s live final next Saturday (May 30):

The Hawkstone Farmers Choir wins the fifth BGT semi-final for 2026

Celestial was awarded the last golden buzzer of BGT 2026 by all four judges following an “epic” drone display.

Following the performance, Dixon said: “That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen on this show.”

Cowell, after initially struggling to find the right words to describe the act, added: “That was one of the most beautiful, incredible productions we’ve had on this show for years.”

He continued: “I don’t think it gets better than that.”

The Hawkstone Farmers Choir was then named the winner of the fifth semi-final, after receiving the most votes from the public.

Jake Banfield was voted runner-up, while James Miller finished in third.

Who is in the BGT 2026 final?

Tonight’s live semi was the fifth and final of the 2026 series of BGT, meaning the line-up for the final has now been decided.

The 10 acts performing in the live BGT final next Saturday (May 30) are:

Anastasiia and Salsa (dog act) – winner of semi-final one

LMA (dance group) – golden buzzer from semi-final two

Fabian Fox (magician) – winner of semi-final two

Liwei Yang (fire-juggler) – golden buzzer from semi-final three

Ted Hill (comedian) – winner of semi-final three

Sonny Green (poet) – golden buzzer in semi-final four

Rafferty Coope (magician) – winner of semi-final four

Celestial (drone art) – golden buzzer from semi-final five

There have been 18 winners of BGT since its first series in 2007, with magician Harry Moulding winning last year.

The winner of BGT 2026 will take home a prize of £250,000 and will also be given the chance to perform in front of the royal family at the Royal Variety Performance.
