Bluebridge has cancelled a return sailing of its Connemara ferry following a mechanical fault.
Bluebridge said passengers were rescheduled on to other sailings while the fault was repaired. The number of affected passengers was unknown.
It said the fault was unrelated to the multiple faults Connemara experienced this year, which caused cancellations and delays,
In March, Connemara sailings were cancelled for 10 consecutive days and the ship was detained for inspection.
