Nvidia NVDA said TSMC is using Nvidia’s accelerated computing tools and AI models to speed up chip design and manufacturing work, including lithography, transistor and process simulation, as well as fab operations.

Nvidia said TSMC is also using Nvidia Metropolis and the TAO Toolkit to improve automated defect inspection with vision AI. Nvidia said the approach is helping identify very small defects while reducing repeated labeling and retraining across factory workflows.

Nvidia separately said Foxconn is deploying Nvidia AI across medical centers in Taiwan, shifting from individual tools to coordinated AI agent systems that support clinicians with reasoning, documentation and care coordination.

Nvidia said Foxconn’s CoDoctor AI platform and Nurabot nursing robots, now powered by Nvidia NemoClaw, have moved from pilot use into clinical operations. Nvidia said the rollout shows how its AI stack is spreading beyond data centers and into semiconductor manufacturing and healthcare.
