NRLW Late Mail: Finals Week 2
Roosters v Sharks, Saturday, 7.45pm at Polytec Stadium

Roosters: Corban Baxter is set for her first game since Round 7 after recovering from an ankle injury and will step straight into the halves in place of Tarryn Aiken (ACL). Baxter will start at five-eighth, with Jocelyn Kelleher shifting to halfback for her 50th NRLW game. Taina Naividi is set to play her first game in the back row this season after Aliyah Nasio was suspended. Mia Wood returns to the wing as a result. No changes in Friday’s 24-hour update.

Sharks: A huge boost 24 hours before kick-off with Annessa Biddle added to the starting side for her first game since Round 7 having overcome an elbow injury. Grace-Lee Weekes drops to 18th player. Hooker Quincy Dodd remains part of the wider squad as she strives to prove her fitness after an ankle injury. Georgia Hannaway’s form at hooker could see Dodd take on a bench utility role if she comes into the side.

Broncos v Knights, Sunday, 1.15pm at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos: Young gun Destiny Brill is on track to return from a calf injury suffered in Round 9, with the hooker set to start the game on the interchange on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos are well rested after last week’s bye with Hayley Maddick returning to the wing after coming off the bench in Round 11. No changes in Saturday’s 24-hour update with Reegan Hicks the 18th player.

Knights: A change on Saturday with Simone Karpani dropping out after failing to come up after a concussion so Viena Tinao joins the bench. Lily-Ann White and Joeli Morris remained in the extended squad.
