Build quality and design
The Xiaomi 17T features a sandwich design with a plastic middle frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display and the glass back panel. The plastic build means a lightweight frame (200 gms), but it feels less premium than the aircraft-grade aluminum build of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+.

It also comes with a smudge-resistant vegan-inspired back panel, which delivers a much better grip and a unique in-hand feel than the Xiaomi offering.
