Numerous flights at Auckland Airport have either been cancelled or delayed due to fog.
Restrictions were in place at the airport due to this morning’s fog, which blanketed the city.
Auckland Airport said approximately 28 domestic regional flights were cancelled, while 12 domestic regional flights were delayed.
Three main trunk domestic flights to Queenstown were delayed. One flight from Wellington was also delayed.
International flights were not affected by the fog.
Passengers were told to check the airport’s website for the latest arrival and departure information.
It comes after flights were temporarily diverted from Wellington Airport after a fire in one of its terminals last night.
Passengers there were warned of potential flow-on disruptions today after the fire was extinguished.
