The digital audio ad Exchange DAX U.S. has added inventory for Idobi Network as part of a new partnership between the two companies. The deal will allow ad buyers to access Idobi Network’s suite of streaming stations and listeners of alternative, pop-punk, rock, metal and indie music channels.
Eddie Barella, CEO of Idobi Network, says the move will open the company up to a bigger pool of advertisers than ever before. “This partnership lets us stay focused on what we do best – championing the artists and music our listeners love — while opening Idobi up to a bigger pool of advertisers than ever before,” he says in a joint announcement.
Founded in 1999, Idobi Network operates the streaming radio service Idobi Radio, as well as companion channels Anthm and Howl. They are home to shows like “Man of the Hour” hosted by Simple Plan’s Sebastien Lefebvre and MusiquePlus’ Patrick Langlois, “The Gunz Show,” “Rock the Walls,” “EJC Show,” and “The Retrospect.”
Idobi also offers podcasts, but those are not part of the sales arrangement.
“Idobi has built one of the most authentic and influential brands in alternative music, with a deeply loyal audience that’s difficult to reach through traditional media,” said Brian Conlan, President of DAX U.S. in the joint announcement. “Adding Idobi to our exclusive publisher network gives advertisers premium access to a highly engaged fan community at scale.”
The move puts Idobi Network alongside Deezer, LiveOne, AccuRadio, Live365 and HitsRadio.com in the DAX U.S. roster, which it says reaches more than 100 million listeners in the U.S.
