Hubbard Radio South Florida has re-signed “The KVJ Show” on hot AC WRMF West Palm Beach, FL (97.9). The morning show has aired for nearly three decades in South Florida and since 2014 on WRMF.
The show, featuring Kevin Rolston, Virginia Sinicki and Jason “J-Bird” Pennington, moved to WRMF following a 14-year run on iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 95.5” WLDI West Palm Beach, and nine months at Cox Media Group’s “Hits 97.3” WFLC Miami.
As Hubbard’s news release notes, the show “has built one of the most loyal and engaged audiences in South Florida radio, with a strong emphasis on community initiatives and charitable efforts that have made a meaningful local impact. Known for its dynamic on-air chemistry, innovative content, and strong community connection, the show remains a cornerstone of WRMF’s continued success.”
WRMF Brand & Content Director David Adams says, “Kevin, Virginia and Jason have created something truly special — an authentic, evolving show that resonates across generations. It’s a testament to the team’s consistency, creativity and deep connection with the South Florida community. This new agreement is a true celebration of everything the KVJ Show has built and continues to deliver day in and day out. I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead as we continue to grow.”
Rolston adds, “KVJ has had an amazing 27 years in South Florida, the last 12 at WRMF, but our last few years with Hubbard have been our favorite,” Rolston says. “KVJ has always been family, but so has Hubbard. They understand that when you can connect with your talent, that you will then connect with your community. This philosophy has served them well for the last 100 years and we are thrilled to be a part of their continued success for years to come. Thanks to Ginny Hubbard, Greg Strassell and Market President Elizabeth Hamma, who has always believed in us.”
