Mumbai-based music-tech startup Tringbox has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round led by Nikhil Gandhi through GIPL. The round also saw participation from MGB Family Office, Paytm Chief Business Officer Narendra Singh Yadav, and other angel investors through One Love Technologies, the startup’s parent company.

Founded by former Paytm executive Amandeep Singh Chawla, Tringbox is building an AI-powered in-store music intelligence platform designed for commercial spaces such as cafés, gyms, salons, restaurants, retail stores, clinics, and hotels.

The proceeds will be used to ramp up product development, expand its intelligent speaker network, and scale deployments across premium venues in India.

Operating in stealth mode over the past year, Tringbox claims to have deployed its platform across more than 30 commercial venues. The company is also backed by NVIDIA Inception and AWS startup credits worth Rs 1 crore, providing access to AI tools, technical support, and cloud infrastructure.

At the core of its offering is a proprietary Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine that dynamically adjusts music based on factors such as venue type, weather, temperature, time of day, and customer environment. The platform analyses audio characteristics including tempo, rhythm, energy, loudness, and harmonic stability to create context-aware music experiences.

Apart from its enterprise solution, Tringbox also operates a QR-based song request platform for restaurants, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues. The feature allows customers to request songs while enabling venue operators to maintain control over playlists through AI-powered moderation.
