Cox Media Group has named Jules Riley Director of Operations and Programming for its Atlanta radio cluster, placing her in charge of content strategy and daily operations for some of the company’s highest-profile stations.

In her new role, Riley will oversee programming for AC “B98.5” WSB-FM, classic hits “97.1 The River” WSRV, and urban AC “Kiss 104.1” WALR. She will work with station leadership and on-air talent to guide programming strategy, strengthen station brands, and drive audience growth across broadcast and digital platforms. Riley succeeds Nathan Reed, who exited the cluster in February.

“Jules has achieved exceptional success throughout her career because she understands how to build strong brands, develop people, and lead high-performing teams,” Atlanta Radio Vice President and Market Manager David Abel said in the announcement. “Her strategic mindset, operational expertise, and passion for connecting with audiences make her the ideal choice for this important leadership role.”

Riley arrives in Atlanta from CMG Jacksonville, where she most recently served as Director of Operations and Programming. There, she led programming efforts for the company’s eight-station cluster, overseeing content strategy, promotions, and digital initiatives while helping strengthen station brands and ratings performance.

CMG said Riley has built a reputation throughout her career for developing talent, fostering collaboration, and implementing programming strategies designed to connect with local audiences while supporting broader business objectives.
