LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — If you’ve ever wandered through the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and thought, “I could really go for a coffee right about now,” you’re not alone, and it turns out you don’t even have to leave the building to make it happen.
Frey and John McManus, who can be found at the museum’s coffee bar on the second floor, stopped by to show off a few of their fast, café-style creations — including a nonalcoholic take on a trendy classic.
Using cold brew as the base, they mixed in half-and-half and vanilla, then shook it up for what was described as a “virgin espresso martini.” The drink was finished with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and cinnamon powder.
McManus said the museum stays busy, especially during the spring and summer season, and highlighted an event happening “today” at the museum: “Fun on the lawn” adjacent to the Park Grill on the MacArthur Park side, featuring hot dogs and “lots of activities.”
He also pointed to a weekly summer favorite: Wednesday Spins. McManus said the event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and includes music, food and beverages, with strong community support. He said it’s also free, and encouraged people to check out Wednesday Spins and then stop by the Park Grill for dinner.

Beyond coffee and events, McManus also talked about museum memberships, which are available at various tiers. He said memberships include free access to the museum and provide access to a broad selection of programs and activities, while also supporting arts and culture in Little Rock. He described the museum as a family-friendly experience with something for kids and adults alike.
