Auckland City Detective Senior Sergeant Rebecca Kirk is appealing for any information on the whereabouts of Simolo, who is from the Pt England area.
“Simolo is considered dangerous, and we urge the public to not approach him,” Kirk said.
“If you see Simolo, call 111 immediately.”
A warrant for arrest had been granted in relation to serious firearms charges.
