Adam Sandler was the one who made Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce husband and wife — the comedy legend served as the couple’s wedding officiant!
The surprise role, revealed to TMZ by Tay’s camp, puts Sandler at the center of one of the biggest celebrity weddings we’ve seen … trading movie scripts for a marriage script as he officially pronounced the superstar couple married.

The gig wasn’t exactly out of left field. Sandler and Kelce got to know each other while filming “Happy Gilmore 2,” and ahead of the movie’s release, Sandler gushed over the couple … and now we know his compliments really paid off!

He’s also made it clear his household is full of Swifties … and they all attended Taylor’s Eras Tour back in 2023.
Taylor and Travis announced their union Friday night around 7:30 PM EST when the signs outside New York City’s Madison Square Garden lit up with the message, “JUST&T MARRIED!”
And we we’ve told you, there’s a huge party underway at MSG … where the newlyweds are welcoming about 1,200 guests into an event space they’ve completely transformed with a custom-built stage, a castle-like structure and even a greenhouse with a garden!
We saw several of Taylor and Travis’ wedding guests arriving for the big shindig, including Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Karlie Kloss, Benson Boone, and more.
