One of the home’s defining moments emerged through an instinctive on-site decision. An additional bedroom was transformed into a library and home office, where a perfectly circular opening frames the courtyard beyond. “We introduced a perfectly round opening that frames the courtyard and living room beyond. It brings in natural light, visually connects different parts of the home, and creates a moment that feels both sculptural and calming,” Nilasha adds.
Each bedroom develops its own character while remaining connected to the Hyderabad home’s overarching language. Curved rafters soften the vaulted ceiling of the primary suite, earthy greens and a sculpted study nook define the daughter’s room, while blush tones and a bay window seat lend the guest bedroom a quiet warmth. Elsewhere, a pebbled corner inspired by Japanese dry gardens and karesansui sand introduces another moment of pause along the circulation route.
