After the MatePad tablets, Huawei Nova 15 series models are seeing a major price increase. The Chinese phone maker has raised the price of its previous-generation mid-rangers, probably to cut off the pressure of the rising component costs.
Huawei announced last month that it will adjust prices for its devices starting July 1st. While the adjustment was expected to apply to the new products, the company is now increasing the cost of existing devices as well.

The company has recently launched new editions of the MatePad 11.5 S and MatePad Air 12-inch with a sharp price jump of 500 to 800 yuan. In the latest scenario, the Huawei Nova 15 models are experiencing a price increase of 300 yuan.
Nova 15 series starting price was 2699 yuan. Although the price has reached 2999 yuan at present. The vanilla version with 256GB storage now costs 2999 yuan. The 512GB internal storage option is now available for 3299 yuan, up from 2999 yuan.

Huawei Nova 15 Pro and Ultra smartphones are also seeing a significant price jump. The new rates are as follows:
Nova 15 Pro
256GB standard edition = 3799 yuan
256GB Kunlun Glass = 3899 yuan
512GB Kunlun Glass = 4199 yuan
Nova 15 Ultra
256GB Kunlun Glass Edition = 4499 yuan
512GB Kunlun Glass Edition = 4799 yuan
1TB Basalt Glass Kunlun Edition = 5299 yuan
On the other hand, Huawei adjusted the price of the Nova 14 Vitality model. The device is now available for 2399 yuan, up from 2100 yuan – a rise of 200 yuan.
The company has started making changes to its devices’ prices. The current price increase ranges from 100 to 500 yuan for smartphones. Whether this cost will further increase or if Huawei will maintain this rise for its products is worth looking forward to.
