Huawei has launched the Pura 90s series smartphones globally at the onset of this week and the company is now making news headlines for another “online launch event” to unveil new smartwatches and color variants for some devices by this month.
SuperDimensional on Weibo revealed that Huawei may host an online launch event by the end of this month, unveiling new smartwatches, color variants, and more.
The tipster specifically mentioned that there won’t be any big flagship devices this month. The company will introduce simpler upgrades and iterations of its mid-range products to expand its foothold in the budget-friendly market.
For smartwatches, the Chinese tech giant is working on several upgraded models. The list includes the Watch GT 7 series, a co-branded Watch 6 model, and the Watch D3 blood-monitoring wearable.

Previously leaked details suggested that Huawei might launch the Watch GT 7 series by the end of July rather than waiting until August. Both months, though, point out a “sooner than expected” launch time for the lineup compared to its predecessors.
In the past few weeks, Huawei has launched new tablet iterations in China – the MatePad 11.5 S Dynamic Edition and MatePad Air 12 Refreshed Edition.
Perhaps it may add the all-new MatePad Air 2026 model to its Chinese tablet lineup by the end of July. Huawei may also introduce new color variants for existing tablets or notebooks, or audio wearables like the FreeClip or FreeBuds Pro flagship.
An early input suggested that Huawei has a new color scheme for the open-back earbuds – FreeClip 2. The company could launch this variant later this month.
