The 43-year-old actress was there alongside fellow The Odyssey co-star Matt Damon and director Christopher Nolan, when the attention turned to her career.

“Anne Hathaway, it’s been wonderful watching you,” the Sister Act star, 70, told Hathaway.

“It’s been wonderful watching you grow up. And you have just blossomed, turned into this fabulous actress.”

Hathaway put her hands over her face and started to tea up.

“No, don’t!” the Devil Wears Prada star replied.

“Girl! Yes! Yes! You need to know. You need to know,” Goldberg continued.

“It’s something you need to know and remember.”

Hathaway, who is currently pregnant with her third child, joked that she couldn’t even blame her reaction on pregnancy hormones.

“I’d be crying [even] if I wasn’t pregnant right now! I don’t even know what to say. Thank you. You know how I feel about you,” she said.

But it wasn’t all about Hathaway, because Goldberg turned her attention to Damon and gushed about how much she adored meeting him for the first time at the Oscars in 2016.

“I know you know my family because they lived around the corner from y’all, and you feel like home,” she told him.

“Thank you for always being upright and great and fabulous in what you do.”

Damon, Hathaway and Nolan are currently on a press tour for The Odyssey, which has already been a smash at the box office.
