The Cadrage Director’s Viewfinder app has been updated to Version 6.0.1, and it now includes a new Sun Tracking feature. Cadrage can now display the sun’s path for any date directly in the viewfinder.
To see exactly where the sun will rise, travel, and set at your location, you simply tap the menu button in the lower left and select Sun.
The Sun Tracking feature works in a similar way to another app I use called Sun Seeker.
If you are not familiar with Cadrage, it allows you to line up your shots with precise framing previews of any professional camera/lens combination and make sure everybody is on the same page during preproduction and on set.
I have been using Cadrage for more than 6 years, and it comes in very handy for scouting
