Two Love Island contestants have been dumped from the villa ahead of the reality show’s live final.
Couple Mica Harris and Samraj Toor were booted off the programme by contestants who had been dumped during earlier episodes of the 2026 series, in Sunday’s show.
Speaking after her departure, Harris said: “It’s been such a crazy journey, I would have never thought I would have had that experience in the villa.

“It has surpassed all my expectations. I’ve met such incredible people that I will love and cherish forever, and I’ve also met Samraj, and the fact that this is the first time for both of us to be in love feels so special and so amazing.
“It’s beyond my dreams and I’m just so, so grateful for my time. I made mistakes, but at the same time I learned so many lessons and I feel like I’ve really grown as a person.
“I’m really proud of myself. I’m really proud of everyone else as well and I’ve seen so many other islanders grow.”

Toor described Harris as “the perfect person” and said he “would have loved this girl either as my best friend or as my girlfriend, a partner, now she’s both of them wrapped in one”.
He added: “I had the best experience of my life. I wouldn’t change anything. I wouldn’t even change the mistakes.
“I’ve learned a lot, I’ve grown as a person, and I feel very grateful to everyone involved who allowed me to be part of this process because I managed to receive the best prize in life, and that’s falling in love.
“I fell in love with the most amazing person. I made friends for life. I learned a lot about myself. It’s a unique experience and I loved every minute.”
The pair left after the ex-Islanders held a vote to decide which contestants they felt did not deserve to compete in the final.
But at the end it was revealed that they too will be able to send another current couple home at the start of Monday’s final.
The couples currently left in the villa are Yasmin Hadlow and Tommy Stagg, Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi, Angelista Gunda and Simba Kudyiwa, and Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy.
Love Island: Live Final will air on Monday at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
