Huawei Nova 16 SE live images have leaked, showing its actual design, and the upcoming SE model looks like a twin of Honor Power 2 with just a gradient wrap. Seems the rumor of Huawei adopting an iPhone 17 Pro-like camera module is true!
Some tipsters have shared the live images of the Huawei Nova 16 SE ahead of its official release. While the company hasn’t teased the device yet, its design has already made a debut in the leaks world.
What’s worth noticing is the appearance of the Nova 16 SE in the live images. An early leak said that Huawei could use Honor’s wide horizontal camera design for its “first in three years” SE smartphone. Looks like the leaked info was accurate.
Looking into the real-life shots, the Nova 16 SE continues to showcase the NOVA Huawei branding at the bottom of the back panel. It has an uplifted camera bump at the rear top in a wide brick-like structure, housing three imaging sensor rings.
The first two camera sensors have small button-like layouts and are arranged vertically on the left side of the camera frame. Meanwhile, the third sensor ring appears slightly at the center, forming a triangular outlook similar to the Pura smartphones.
Overall, the look resembles Honor Power 2, featuring 8000 nits of brightness and many significant upgrades to compete with Apple’s flagship. Coming to the colors, Nova 16 SE has classic black and white shades. But the highlight will be the gradient option.

Huawei’s new SE handset has an identical Ocean Orange-like gradient color scheme, reflecting the flagship Pura 90 Pro Max. It recreates the soft beauty of the sea and sky merging at sunset. Another gradient is the fusion of blue and pink shades.
The new Nova 16 SE looks quite appealing. But whether its internal specs will also gain the same level of traction is worth looking at!
