A Weibo tipster has now revealed the sales details of the Huawei Pura X Max series, which has now reached 600000 units. The wide foldable has achieved a significant score in the Chinese premium fold market, generating good revenue for the company.
RDObservation has shared the sales data of the Huawei Pura X Max wide-fold in the 29th week of this year, hitting more than 600000 units. The flagship model debuted in March and continues to garner consumers’ attention in the market.
Starting with the standard version, the company has shipped approximately 285900 units of the Pura X Max. Whereas the figure goes around 325,900 units when it comes to the Collector’s Edition regarding shipments.
The data highlights that despite being a “more expensive” wide-fold model, the Huawei Pura X Max Collector’s Edition has outperformed the vanilla version in sales.
According to the details, the Collector’s Edition has sold 40,000 units more than the base model. Perhaps the reason behind this extra sale is the Kirin 9030 Pro chip.
Wide foldables have become a new trend in the smartphone market, where the Pura X Max is still standing at the peak. While Samsung has recently launched its first “wide” Galaxy Z Fold 8 with major highlights, it lags behind Huawei’s creation at many points.

And the competition will continue to rise as Apple is on its way with the first iPhone Ultra foldable. It would be interesting to see if the newcomer in the foldable market affects Huawei’s lead.
