When Netflix tallied its most-watched series for the first half of 2026, I Will Find You landed third with roughly 64 million views despite premiering only on June 18, and Run Away sat fifth with about 50 million, trailing only Stranger Things season 5. No other writer placed two titles in that top five. Since then, I Will Find You has kept climbing, and with Myron Bolitar already in production, Harlan Coben has become the streamer’s most consistent hitmaker.

Harlan Coben owns Netflix’s midyear scoreboard

Netflix’s official ranking of its most-watched shows for the opening six months of 2026 came out with a familiar name stamped on it twice. Harlan Coben placed both I Will Find You and Run Away in the top 5, and no other creator managed two titles in that group. Combined, the pair pulled in 114 million views on the January-to-June list, a figure only His & Hers and Bridgerton season 4 topped individually among 2026 releases.

I Will Find You climbs into the all-time top 10

Premiering on June 18, 2026 with Sam Worthington in the lead, I Will Find You had less than a month of tracking in the H1 window and still landed at No. 3 with 64 million views. It kept going: by late July, the thriller had reached 101.9 million cumulative views in six weeks, making it Netflix’s No. 10 most-popular English-language series of all time and pushing past the 98.2 million benchmark set by His & Hers.

The show also spent 5 consecutive weeks atop Netflix’s weekly English-language rankings, the first series to do so since Wednesday season 2, adding 7.3 million views in the week of July 20 alone. Critics gave the show a 61% score on Rotten Tomatoes, well below the audience reception. Fool Me Once, another Coben adaptation, previously held that same No. 10 all-time spot with 98 million views over 91 days.

Run Away set the tone on New Year’s Day

Run Away, an 8-episode adaptation of Coben’s 2019 novel starring James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver and Alfred Enoch, hit Netflix on January 1, 2026. It opened with 12.7 million views in its first week, climbed to 15.6 million in its second, and finished the half-year at No. 5 with 50 million views, edged out only by Stranger Things season 5.

Myron Bolitar is next in line

The Netflix-Coben partnership dates to 2017, when the streamer secured rights to 14 of his novels before adding 12 more in 2022. Thirteen Coben series now sit on the platform, and a fourteenth is coming: an adaptation of his 12-book Myron Bolitar series, executive produced by David E. Kelley, the creator of Big Little Lies. Colin Woodell stars as the title character, with KJ Apa, Diane Guerrero, Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman, Jamie McShane and Ben McKenzie rounding out the cast. Netflix has yet to announce a premiere date, with production reported to have started this July.
